Welcome to Satori

This is the site of the 'Complex Materials by Computational Design' group at the Institute of Materials Science and Department of Materials Science & Engineering, University of Connecticut, Storrs. The group is led by Prof. Serge Nakhmanson. We are on the quest for understanding (or a satori moment) of how to create new materials with advanced functional properties by utilizing the power of high-performance computer simulations.

“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?”

“That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,” said the Cat.

“I don’t much care where—” said Alice.

“Then it doesn’t matter which way you go,” said the Cat.
